As previously stated,
the opportunity I am exploring is related to improving mobile, quick personal
hygiene.
The product/service I
intend to sell is a mint that releases/dissolved into a liquid that not only
cleans teeth but also freshens breath. This candy can serve multiple purposes.
It can be a fun, tasty way for young kids to learn about dental hygiene. However,
it can mostly be a way for busy college students to keep up their health while
living their busy lifestyles.
The mints would need to
come in packaging that separates them from other regular candies. The packaging
would need to stress that the mints have a special purpose. Also, this could be
dangerous because the liquid that is released is likely not supposed to be
consumed, so if someone buys them thinking they are normal mints, they will not
be prepared to deal with them effectively.
Overall, this solution
should be able to provide busy people with an efficient way to enjoy keeping up
with their dental hygiene.
Hi Max,
ReplyDeleteI think that this dental hygiene product that you are describing can be indeed a fun and useful product that many people would adopt, particularly those like busy college students and office workers that can use the extra time gained for other purposes. I also believe playing with other flavors besides mint can be a great opportunity to gain ground on little kids and their fathers who would not only think of your product as a replacement for more traditional dental hygiene products but also as a healthy candy substitute for their kids. I think that if you find a way to come up with a product like this one you would have a winner one indeed. Awesome job!
Sincerely,
Javier Felis Perez
Hey Max, I feel like your idea would be very popular among kids and younger age groups who can easily adapt to change. I also imagine that a lot of people would be skeptical about using something that's so different from what they've been doing for the entirety of their life. I think that if the product were encouraged to be used alongside brushing your teeth, it would have more success at first. Aside from that, I think your idea regarding the packaging is a great one since no one would really expect mints to have the same effect and chemicals as toothpaste, so a precautionary message would be handy.

Hi Max,
ReplyDeleteThe final product and solution for this product seems like it could take a good bit of time and effort to figure out. Getting around kinks like not swallowing the liquid could be problematic, but with todays advances in science I'm sure it would be possible. With the ease and effectiveness of this product, I believe it would take over the market of hygiene and prove to be a game changer for people on the go.
Best,
